In the family — the blood and the chosen one — I found the threads with which I weave my inspiration. It's in our connections where everything is found, and that's why I love portraying the human relationships that give us life.
To this day, I'm still obsessed with going through the old family albums my mother put together when my brother and I were little — amazed to find something new in those sticky old pages every time. That's the power of photography: to freeze a moment in time and give it back to you, again and again.
Over more than 12 years behind the camera, I've learned what really matters — and that's why I've spent my life photographing it. I'm a lover of simple things.
